1. Who we are and what these terms cover
These terms and conditions apply to every order placed through this website, operated by Variantai, MB, Basanavičiaus g. 20, LT-03224 Vilnius, Lithuania (legal entity code 306133252, VAT ID LT100016340412), trading as Racket Club ("we", "us"). By placing an order you agree to these terms, so please read them before checking out. They don't affect any rights you have under EU or national consumer law — where these terms and the law differ, the law wins.
2. Orders and acceptance
Placing an order is an offer to buy. We confirm receipt by email straight away, but a contract only comes into being when we dispatch your order and send you the shipping confirmation. We may decline an order — for example where an item is unexpectedly out of stock, a price was obviously listed in error, or we can't verify payment — and if we do, we'll tell you promptly and refund any amount already taken.
3. Prices and payment
All prices are shown in euro (EUR) and include VAT at the applicable rate. Shipping costs, where they apply, are shown separately at checkout before you confirm your order. Payment is taken at the time of ordering through our payment service providers; we never see or store your full card details.
If we discover a genuine pricing error after you've ordered, we'll contact you with the option of confirming the order at the correct price or cancelling it for a full refund.
4. Delivery
We deliver to all 27 EU member states. Orders placed on business days are normally dispatched within 24 hours, and standard tracked delivery takes 2–4 business days across the EU. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees, though we chase every late parcel. Risk in the goods passes to you when you (or someone you've nominated) take physical possession of them. Full details are on our shipping and returns page.
5. Right of withdrawal and returns
As an EU consumer you have a statutory right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of delivery, without giving a reason — full details and the model withdrawal form are on our right-of-withdrawal page. We voluntarily extend this:
you may return any item within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Items must be unused, complete and in their original packaging — you may inspect goods as you would in a shop, but gear that has been played with can't be returned under this policy. To start a return, email hello@racketclub.shop with your order number. Unless we've told you otherwise, you bear the direct cost of returning the goods. Refunds go to your original payment method within 14 days of us receiving the return.
6. Faulty goods and legal guarantee
Everything we sell is covered by the legal guarantee of conformity under EU consumer law: if an item is faulty or not as described, you're entitled to a repair, replacement or refund for at least two years from delivery, in accordance with the law of your country of residence. This guarantee is separate from — and unaffected by — our voluntary returns policy and any manufacturer warranty. If something is wrong with your gear, contact us and we'll handle it.
7. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud. Beyond that, we're liable for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of these terms, but not for losses that were not foreseeable when the contract was made or that were not caused by our breach. We supply goods for private use; we're not liable for business losses.
8. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live. Any disputes may be brought before the courts of your place of residence where consumer law provides for this. Details of any consumer arbitration body we participate in are listed in our imprint.
